38-161 Andersen 400 PS Sash Lock, LH

I have this casement window which was installed before I bought the home. It seems I miss a small piece to keep the handle on the system. The first picture is the current issue, the second, with white paint on it, has the small steel piece that helps hold the handle.

This is for left side casement window. The part of the locking component that is attach to the handle is broken. I'm not sure about remove it since it is built inside the wooden fame and I don't see any screws.

This locking mechanism is from an Anderson casement window from 1995 the number on the item is 361902.The window seems to have settled a little and the sash I believe has to be shimmed. My order number was 1759286,these were parts of Andersen - straight arm operator and Tandem stash Lock. These parts did not fit and I returned it back. Hello, the pics here are showing the piece an Andersen casement lock handle slides onto which of course is the actual locking mechanism. The left side is intact while the right is not. The right side is missing that small metal piece which locks the handle in place. I've seemingly looked everywhere ... (cont.)

I thought I had found the correct replacement bezel in the 39-290. But I measured the one I have, and it is 5 7/8 inches, not the 6 3/16 you show on the part page. Part Number on item is L136902. The window opens to the right.

I am ordering some hardware for anderson windows built between 95 and 98 it looks like based on the crank I found. But cannot find the lower locking mechanism of a tandem casement lock anderson part number 1361901. thank you. kris.
