Product Description

This kit includes a left-hand and right-hand latch assembly to install on both sides of the venting sash to limit the opening to less than four inches when the sash is first opened. Also includes an instructional guide, bumpers and installation fasteners. Release of the device allows the sash to be further opened for full sash ventilation and/or emergency escape and rescue. The opening control devices are automatically reset once the sash is returned to its fully closed position. The double-hung opening control devices meet requirements of ASTM F2090-08 and ASTM F2090-10 for Window Fall Prevention Devices With Emergency Escape and (Egress) Release Mechanisms. This is a genuine Andersen product that works with their 200 Series Narroline, 400 Series Woodwright, 200 Series Tilt-Wash, and the 400 Series Tilt Wash double hung windows.

I recently inquired about using these. Just wanted to report back that these will work just fine in a Marvin Tilt-Pack replacement window situation, where the track is vinyl. The windows in question have an opening that is not high enough from the finished floor. The building department says that is a hazard for children who could fall out. I need to order several of these WOCD's. They are marked with a VSP stamp. They are 1 3/16" long by 1" high. The hole width is 1".
