Broken Balance

Question

Hi there. I have some vinyl windows in my home of unknown origin. The one in the bathroom decided to come crashing down. Both balances are broken.
There are no markings on them and i have no clue how to remove them or measure them for the correct one .

Can you help ?

Thanks for posting! The part you have here is the 15-087 Coil Housing Pivot. I'm confident it should be match but be sure to double check the dimensions.

For the pivot bar, we suggest either the 26-040 or the 26-089. You may also want to check these for any damage, especially since the windows came crashing down.

This housing uses the Series 180 Coil Balance, which is anchored in the window track using the 16-024 Mounting Bracket.

To determine the correct coil weight option, you'll need to look for a stamp/marking on the coil. If yours does not have one, please see the video tutorial below.
