Hello, thank you for posting,

To further review, can we see a picture of the pivot shoe in the window channel that the coils attach to? The window sash will need to be removed to see the shoe.

Please also confirm if the thickness of the springs are 1/2" or 3/8" thick. From there we can determine the correct series for your window. Thank you!

I took pictures of the shoes on both sides. Thanks!

Thank you,

Please review the dimensions of the 15-199 pivot shoe that is compatible with the 3/8" thick Series 165 coil springs.

Each spring should have a number stamped into the metal that will indicate that weighted option needed. If there are no markings present, please provide the weight of the window sash to move forward. Thank you!

I measure the pivot shoe as 1-1/4 wide by 1-1/2 high. Sash weight is 20 lbs

Thank you,

If the original pivot shoe is 17/32" thick, the 15-199 will be a good fit.

For a 20 pound sash you will only need two coils on each side of the window. You can use (2) S165-5 coil springs on each side along with the 15-204 double coil support.

We recommend replacing both sides at the same time to make sure all coils match up. Let me know if you have any additional questions!
