Window crank works out to about halfway then won't allow reverse to crank it back in

Hello, thank you for posting,

It sounds like the crank operator is stripped. To further review, we will need to see the window open where we can see the arm(s) of the operator. With the window unlocked, you should be able to gently push the sash open to expose the arm(s). From there we can get a clearer idea if we can supply a suitable replacement option. Thank you!

Depending on the length of the arm, please review the 39-014 and 39-013 or the 39-028E and 39-027E operators. Take a look at the installation patten to confirm it will fit your window sill along with the end fitting for the sash track. Also see the 39-114L for a compatible handle.
