Coil Balance Window parts
Hello! Looks like you need a new coil balance system. We should definitely be able to help. See our 15-199 pivot shoe and 26-378 pivot bar.
I'm not sure about the coil spring. Can you tell me how thick it is? It should be 1/2" or 3/8". Can you also tell me how many you use per side? It looks like 2, but I want to be 100% sure.
Thank you for the information. The bar and shoe look right. The coil springs I have. Is there a set I can buy that includes the plastic casing. What about the sash window release clips?
The coil spring is 3/8 and Each side of the window uses 2 per side. Is there a dual coil spring guide and outside cover that protects the coils?
Thanks! If your springs are 3/8" thick, then I recommend our Series 165 and 15-204 dual spring cover. You'll need the stamp off your old spring to confirm the best option.
I'm not sure what a sash window release clip is. Might you be referring to the tilt latch? Either way, I'll need a photo of it to confirm a match. Seeing an undamaged version out of the window would be ideal. It's tough to ID hardware if they're broken or obscured by the window.
