Need Balance Parts

Question

I must have ordered the wrong parts. The part of the window that fits into the groove is too big for the parts that I ordered. I broke both the left and right hand 140 quick tilt parts trying to get the window barrel into the swivel joint.. Should I order the next spring size? (0rder number 3069764)

As promised is a picture of the existing hardware and the weight.Looks like 12 lbs. What would you recommend.

I was planning on ordering 6 lb 152 coil S152-6.

I still have the top piece that the coil goes onto. It measures 1 1/4” x 13/8”And the diameter of the center piece is 3/4”.

My good spring measures 13/16” ID and 1 5/32” OD x 1/2”.
I have one blue shoe (left side) and one black shoe (right side)

Will the coil I picked out work with what I have?

Thanks for reaching out to us. It looks like you ordered the Series 140 but you have the 15-177 pivot shoe instead. If the window sash weighs 12 pounds, it's a good idea to use one S152-6 6-pound coil spring on each side of the window. You can reuse the old spring supports if they're in good shape.
