Need Window Parts

A handy person from warner robins, GA 31088 says:
The only part number I can find is on the coil #540. The window weighs 19 lbs. Instead of buying 4 #540 coils for ea. window would 2 S140-19 work for ea. window and 2 pivot bars?

I asked if 2 S140-19 would work instead of the old parts but noticed that balance carries 19 lbs ea. so I guess that would be 2 S140-10.

Thank you for choosing SWISCO.com. I would not recommend using our Series 140 coil balance for your window. Your shoe looks like an older version of our 15-180. With that in mind, I would recommend the following parts: the 15-180 shoe; 15-181 detent clip; 15-182 bushing; and S190-540 spring. Each of these springs can carry 5 pounds, and since you have two springs per side that's a total of 20 pounds of support. It should work fine for your window. For the pivot bar, please see our 26-040. Let us know how you make out.
