Need help identifying a part

Home Owner from Brooklyn, New York
Hi. I have a Crystal 2000A double hung window (see label) and one of these white plastic inserts that hold both the window and the ballast spring snapped and broke at the top so that it can't hold the ballast. (Sorry about the crud. Didn't think to clean it.) This picture is of the other side that's still intact. I just fixed another window where the ballast spring had just popped out of the plastic holder, so I can probably repair it with the right new part.

Hey there,

I'm confident we can provide a replacement for the pivot shoe you have here. Although, I'll need to know its width and thickness (front to back measurement) to determine the correct recommendation.

I've included a few video tutorials below in case you have questions about the removal/installation process.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

Hi. Thank you. The shoe is 1/2 inch thick (front to back), and 1 and 1/4 inches wide.

Thanks for confirming. I suggest taking a look at the 15-046 Pivot Shoe. If the height differs from yours, it should not affect the installation.

To replace the pivot, if needed, start with reviewing and comparing the 26-040 and 26-089. Their dimensions can be reviewed on the website.
