Pivot lock shoe for Paradigm window

Home Owner from Wilmington, Delaware
Can you recommend replacement of my window balance shoe shown in second photo ? The spring of the window is shown in first photo. I brought 4 of 15-177 but unable to connect to the spring. Thanks.

Hello,

It actually looks like you have an older style version of the S140 coil balance assembly. I'd recommend weighing your sash and dividing the weight by two to choose the correct strength option for your window.

You can also find our return policy here if you'd like to send back the 15-177 pivot shoes that you purchased. Thanks for posting!

Thanks. However, the spring and balance shoe of my windows are not in one assembly as shown in Series 140 (see attached photo from one of the good windows). Can I buy 15-215 balance shoe as replacement for the broken one ?

Also, the coil spring apparently is still in good condition. It will stretch accordingly.

The 15-215 is the shoe that comes with the S140 assembly. You are welcome to purchase just the shoe but since your shoe has already broken, the coils and other parts of the assembly may not be far behind. You may have an easier time replacing both balance assemblies altogether but It's up to you and you may be able to get some additional life out of the coils and covers if they are still in good condition.
