Hi there,
A few of my Simonton windows no longer stay up. It looks like the balance assembly may be the issue. Can you tell me what part(s) I need in order to fix the issue?

Thanks for writing in! I am confident that we can supply you with a replacement coil balance assembly for your window. I'll just need to see a photo of the pivot shoe removed the window to identify the correct part. Unfortunately, I cannot use the brand name or the window sticker to identify it.

Thanks for reaching back out to us! Your pivot shoe reminds me of the 15-199 Pivot Shoe. Since your coil spring cover appears to be the 15-205 Coil Triple Support, I believe you'll need the 3/8" wide Series 165 Coil Balance you'll need to confirm the width of your spring to confirm.

You'll need to look for any stamps/markings that will indicate the strength of the spring(s); this will help to determine the spring(s) needed to complete your assemblies. If there aren't any stamps/markings, you'll need to obtain the exact weight of the sash and divide that by the total number of coils in the window.

The compatible pivot bar is the 26-378.
