Spirex balancer wont hold in place

A handy person from Massachusetts says:

the spring is not holding in place. should I buy a new spirex balancer or just need the special tool to adjust the pressure

Thanks for posting! Are you referring to a Spiral Balance? If so, you might not have to replace the whole balance. Charging the spiral may be all you need.
