Window Balancer....24 3 EX CMC 2 on a Stanley Window...

Professional from Hendersonville, NC
This is a tilt window.  The actual metal channel is 25" long and 1/2" x 1/2" wideth & depth.  The lower end of the channel connects to the tilt lock and the top end has a string coming out that connects to a screw in the side of the window, up high.
I do Handyman tasks in a fairly large community with condos, cluster home, and cottages.  I started replacing window balancers in the community.  Most buildings are 20 to 25 years old.  Up until now, all the windows have had spiral balancers.  Today in the last phase of condos, I found this type balancer.  If I can get a replacement, I'll probably start ordering small batches frequently.  The majority of the units have the spiral balancers, but the last 60 condos probably have these type windows.

This window balance reminds me of the S765-25 Balance with a 24-3 Stamp. Like yours it has a pivot shoe hook attached at the bottom. It screws in at the top of the sash.

The hook is attached to a pivot shoe. The one we typically recommend for the replacement is the 15-046 Pivot Shoe but you'll need to be sure to review and compare the dimensions. The 26-040 can be used to replace the pivot bar.
