Window balance

I have several balance springs that have broken and need to be replaced. I just bought the house last year and don't know the model numbers

Thanks for reaching out to us! I am confident we can provide you with a replacement for your coil balances. Although, I'll need to see photos of the entire to ensure we are providing your with an accurate recommendation.

I am especially looking to see a photo of the pivot shoe, which means you'll need to remove the window sash. You'll also need to have the shoe removed to compare its measurements to the recommendation. If you are looking to replace the balance springs as well, these will need to be removed so that you can look for any stamps/markings on the metal.

Thanks for the photos. Your pivot shoe can be replaced with the 15-199 Pivot Shoe. The design is slightly different so be sure to compare the width and the thickness to confirm that it will be a fit.

The support pictured here is the 15-206 3/8" Egress Coil Quad Support. This is compatible with the Series 165 Coil Balance. Since one of your coils is stamped with a #4.0 and the rest of them a #5.0, you'll need the S165-4 and S165-5 coil balances.

Take a look at the 26-378 if you are looking to replace the pivot bar along with the assembly.
