Window balance

Question

I believe this block and tackle window balance uses a 1/2 inch pivot shoe. Please recommend the correct parts. Maybe I can switch to a spiral balance?  Also, I will need a sash stop to fill the cut I will need to fill the cut out in the window track that will be necessary to remove the old pivot shoe. Please give me the part number for the sash stop as well. Thank you

Thanks for reaching out! The balance you have reminds me of our Series 765 Balance, assembled with a screw clip on top and a pivot shoe hook at the bottom. You'll specifically need the S765-27 with a 26-3 stamp option.

Your exact pivot shoe is no longer made but our 15-046 Pivot Shoe should work well as a replacement. This is used along with the 26-040 Pivot Bar.

You can use the 26-053A to replace your balance stop.
