Hi,
I am looking for a window sash balance replacement for both sides. I sent you photos of the old balance and attachements. The old balance is 29 inches long. The weight of the window is 20 pound. Hope you are able to save my window aither with the exact balance replacement or with somthing equivalent.

Hello, thank you for posting,

To further review, can you confirm if the diameter of the balance tube measures 3/8" or 9/16"?

Please also provide written out dimensions of the width and thickness of the pivot shoe.

Do you need a new pivot bar on the bottom of the sash as well or can it be reused? If so, can we see the tip with the plastic cam from the pivot shoe removed? Thank you!

Hello Lauren,
I'm sorry for my late reply. The diameter of the balance tube measures is 9/16.
Regarding the dimensions of the width and thickness of the pivot shoe. Please see the photos below of the only part that i have with me for now.
Yes,  i do need new pivot bar on the bottom of the sash. In fact, I would like to replace both sides of this window sash balance with new parts.
Thank you,
Fernando

Hi Fernando,

For a 9/16" diameter, see the S600-29 spiral balance with a red tip that can support a 20 pound sash weight.

For the pivot shoe, compare the 15-118, 15-046 or 15-047. Match up the thickness and width to confirm the best fit.

I cannot fully confirm the pivot bar while still installed and the pivot cam on the end, but start by comparing the 26-089, 26-040 or 26-083. Review the backset of the installation holes to see how they align to your original. Let us know if you have any additional questions!
