Hi I'm looking for a replacement window operator for a Nordic brand has a number 40055 stamped on the bottom. Pictures uploaded.

Thanks for posting! This window operator looks like an older version of the 39-027E Ellipse Style Single Arm Operator. The opposite version of it is the 39-028E. To confirm that this is the correct style for the repair, carefully compare the dimensions.

My arm length is 11 inches. I don't see an 11 inch option can a shorter arm length be used?

I'm afraid we cannot provide you with an operator that has an 11" arm length. The only other option is the 39-013, and its opposite 39-014, but the length is 13-1/2". Take a look over its dimensions to see if it might be a better fit for the window.

You may need to make some adjustments to accommodate for the difference in the length.
