I have several windows that have the spiral balance system that are failing. Originally purchased and installed by "Jacobson Windows of Tampa, FL", which now appear to be out of business. What are your views on using Silicone to install Track Covers 80-102 as is shown on some other sites? Will the Track Cover 80-102 not stay in place without Silicone? If Track Cover 80-102 has to be replaced again in future, will the Silicone make removal of old Track Cover difficult? ... (cont.)
