I'm trying to match an awning operator. Your 39-084 is almost an exact match. If the old arm extension is 2-1/8" verses the 2-1/4" on the crown, would it work properly installed?

need help in replacing an Alcan window crank
I was able to open but not close my bathroom awning window. Its like the gear stripped. It is a right hand crank. The manufacturer is Alcan and it was installed in 1986. I have old windows (1978) with right crank-style operators. 2 styles as follows: 1. 2 holes on top 5/16 inch apart and 2 holes on bottom 1 5/16 inches apart. Opener is 5 1/8 inches long.
