Hi, I bought this replacement last time and it got discolored again. Also I had a really hard time with the back side and had to use the old backs with the new fronts, don't remember the exact problem it it would close or lock or lineup on the locking part. Screw holes on exterior face are 8 3/16" apart. screws on interior are 1 3/4" apart. Brushed brass exterior, dark brown/black interior.
