Broken inside door latch on forever door.

I have 2 Sears storm doors, model #948.65111271 and #948.65113271 I need the handle and Latch assembly for both. The kit number from Sears is 17656. The doors are 1 5/8" thick, the 2 outer mounting holes a 1 3/4" on center apart. Thank you for your help,Steve

This is an inside latch for a forever door. Need a replacement , or a suitable substitute.

Not sure what secures the handle in place. There are no set screws. Looking to replace the handle only on one side. Can you help identify? No markings or numbers anywhere.

Latch not working tried part # 40-145 fits rod thru door knobs bolts line up but need to remove spacers.latch is too far from door frame. Looks like but not right. Door is fro. 1990 serial # 868961Thanks Ralph

I have what I believe is an old Cole Sewell storm door, which I was able to identity using another post. In that post, it was recommended to replace the interior lever handle with 40-145. But my trouble is coming from the lock. I don't know a lot about locks and I don't know where to even begin repl ... (cont.)

Height of latch is of specific concern. Center to centers = 1-3/4". Outisde knob is Tulip style with a 5/16" semi-square spindle

The inside latch assembly got damaged somehow. The door is a Herbst LaZar 1983

I am looking for a replacement screen door handle. The handle still works but the spring inside is shot. So the latch does not pop back into position to hold the door shut. Can you help me regarding this?

Photos show lockset from a Herbst LaPar storm door that has a broken inside latch. Will the 40-145 set work? I see you recommended the 40-177 to another inquiry, but would prefer the antique bronze finish if the 40-145 would work. Are the locksets metal? Thanks!

this is the latch i need to replace. it has a 1 3/4 inch hole spacing. the exterior handle is a lever handle. if 40-052 works for a lever handle, it is what i needlarry
