looking for storm door latch with 1/4" round spindle

Will this handle (Product # 40-152) work with a door that is only 7/8 inch wide. The lowest dimension given is 1 inch.

Inside catch is 1" x 4" Inside handle is. 3.5" x 1" Outside plate for door knob is 6.25" x 1.75 Thickness of door is 1"

I have a Sears brand storm door that needs a replacement latch. The outside is a knob, but I'm not wedded to the replacement being the same. The holes are spaced 1 3/4" apart, but the door is 1 5/8" thick. I could not find a kit in my local hardware store for such a thick door. I thought about tryin ... (cont.)

The door handle is broken and needs to be replaced. The handle is 6 and 7/8ths inches in length and 2 and 3/8ths inches in width. It is silver in color but any color that is available will do.

I have the handle like the 40-057 but would like to replace it with something in a pewter finish. What will still work that will use or cover the holes that are there already?

I need a replacement storm door handle for Idea DX-1C in white. The storm door was purchased new in 2004. Do you have a replacement or know where I can get one?

i have a ideal storm latch.the inside broke on the handle the number on the outside handle is ideal,dx-3 and D-423.320 it is 1" wide.1-1/2"hole to hole.and 1.and 5/8"high.Do yo have the inside handle & gut's. roger

I cannot fully rotate the lever on the inside part of the back door handle to secure the lock mechanism. It stops at about 12 o'clock moviing counterclockwise. I replaced my Cole Sewell lever door handle with the push button 40-152 handle and am completing the installation. Thank you, ... (cont.)

Big question: the inside handle on your website diagram/photo of the 40-152 points to the right; we need ours to point to the LEFT. Does it come both ways and if so, how do we specify which way we need inside handle to point when ordering on website/ Thank you!

I have several storm door handles to replace on some senior/disabled apartment doors. Some of the folks can't push buttons or turn knobs. It looks like your product #40-028 handles will work. Do you sell parts for this set? Everything is fine with the handles except the posts that the screws set in sheered off. Only the small inner piece with those posts needs to be replaced.

I am looking at your product code: 40-033 (out swinging door handle set,, round, 1-3/4") and need to know if from center hole in top to center hole in bottom is 7 1/2 inches.
