Looking for replacement weather stripping for Jeld-wen casement windows produced in 1998. Approximately 36" long. Are top and bottom seals normally the same? Have 2 windows so would need 4 strips

Most of the weatherstrip is damaged. The rigid piece goes over a piece of wood on the outer side of the door.

Once installed, how do you keep it from shifting back and forth in the slot?

The windows are 21 years old. The name on the latch is Alenco. The rubber piece when flattened is the same width as the piece it sits on which is 5/16 of an inch. At that point the piece wraps down 3/16 of an inch and then into a groove

My windows date from 1961. Can't find anything to replace the original which is of course dried out and bent over.

Seems like the offset loop but has that extra flap on side of the loop. Do not know window manufacturer. From the early 90's.
