The one I removed has a broken piece missing from the extension that catches to hold the clip in place once inserted and twisted into place.

HELP! We have a nice storm door with full glass panel. It is retained by 4 strips like this one around the perimeter. I'm searching for small plastic brackets that are screwed to the windo gram to hold storm panes in place. They look sort of like a wing nut with just one wing.
