hello, I have a sliding glass door to my basement and want to replace with a locking door handle so that my renter can come and go outside of that door. The only identification I can locate is on the sticker in the photo.

can the 82-082 be used with a keyed lock just by knocking out center of outer handle ? I have a non-keyed doorwall handle I want to have a key lock installed so I can lock and unlock this doorwall from outside. clamp style, 4 15/16 spacing
