90-009 Window Lock, 2-1/4"

I ordered part # 90-009 but the part of the lock which makes contact with the window is too short so that it doesn't reach and make contact. Therefore, these locks won't lock the windows at all. Is there a part that has a slightly longer locking mechanism that will work?

What window lock or locks do you have that match the 90-136 keeper? Thanks!

I need to replace 40 window locks with screw holes 2 1/4" apart. My original metal window locks are brittle and shatter under very little pressure. Your website has replacement locks for this size listed at various prices. For budget reasons, I would prefer to buy at the lower end of the price range ... (cont.)

what is the difference between the 90-005 and the 90-009? Our window locks have the name alenco on the top and our house was built in 1991 (texas).
