How to determine stamp option if stamp has worn off?
How do you determine a balance's stamped number if it has been worn away or the balance is missing altogether? I have four sliding windows in which three have no balances and the balances in the fourth have no four digit number as they have worn away over time. These windows were installed in 1962. ... Channel Balances, Series 350?
I am interested in buying 8 # 2220 and 8 # 1620 1/2 channel Balances with top and shoe attached. I am sending pictures to get the right top and shoe. If you could please help me with this it would be greatly appreciated. I think it is a 350 series but I am not sure. Best regards Rober ... (cont.)

What top sash guide goes with Series 351 channel balance?
Hi, I recently ordered & received 2 window balances: 17" Series 351 Channel Balance S351-17, option: 1620 I found I need to order a top sash guide & need to know the one to order. It looks like #18-008. Is that the right one? Thanks, Ken M.

Balance weight threshold compared to measurements?
I inquired about block and tackle balances, specifically the series 351 17". Dave suggested I measure the window to find the weight. Does this mean you can guage the weight by the measurements? If so the window is 34 1/2" x 17 1/2". The frame is 1" thick with a single pane of 1/8". I have noting ... (cont.)
