Hi, I am looking for the correct top sash guide pairs. These look to be directional. My channel balance is stamped 1640 and measures 17" metal to metal. I think they are S390-17. I am looking for a channel balance 16" long. It has a stamp 1620 on it. The width is 1/2" I am not sure about the top and bottom attachments. We have (3) vertical sliding windows. Each one has a 1610 on the left and a 1640 on the right. The metal slide is 17" long on both. The 1610 spring is 5-3/8" and the 1640 spring is 6". Seem weird there would be two different types of mechanisms in the same window? Only one of the three windows ha ... (cont.)

This house was built in 1982. The only marking is '1610' stamped on the backside near the bottom. The spring was broken and I don't have it with me. I think I tossed it. Thanks!

Stamped with part no 2430Al channel is 25" long. Hook is broken off the end of the spring. Need entire assembly or just the spring?And I have another pair stamped 1620 with an AL channel length of 17". This is the 1620 but they look the same.

The first three pictures are 25" x 1/2 (2440) , the last two are 17" x 1/2" (1630). Before purchasing I saw several that looked alike and I want to make sure its the right ones before purchasing .
