15-197 Black Locking Terminal, Great Lakes

I am looking for four 30TG balance's, they have a blue knife point locking cam. They are out of a Weather Shield Vision 2000DH window. They are held in with a screw through the top of the balance, no S clip. Thank You And Have A Great Day! Gary

This came off of a Crestline window. I got no help from the retailer nor the manufacturer. Beyond the "40C", there are some smaller stamps, "198" and "VN" from what I can read (they are really small stamps). These are on a tilt window and ribbed balances. Measure 29 inches long. Also measures 1/2 x 1/2. We ordered S751-29 thinking they were them but they are took big. They are stamped 28TG

I am replacing the Great Lakes Locking Terminals, 15-197, in several windows. Is there a tool, or method, that can be used to separate the plastic channel in order to do this replacement, rather then removing the trim and taking the window apart.

I bought a bunch of 15-014 terminals and they seem to work just fine. I found a complete existing one and it matches your 15-197. The original ones havent held up very well. Confusing stuff... Channel measures 32 1/4 Number stamped on channel is 30HB B.S.1 RA It has the shoe that is a 15-197

Hello - we have a customer with several windows with balances broken. These are double hung Semco windows - original to a 1998 house outside Columbus Ohio. We have two sizes - actual window 31*27 with a 29 inch balance and 31*31 with a 33 inch balance. On the 29 inch balance the stamp is r28TG. ... (cont.)
