40-177 Lever Handle With Deadbolt Set

Hi, I need help finding an exterior storm door handle to match my current interior one. It has the 5/16" square post and all the standard ones wont fit or match the holes on the current door (too small to reach latch) Thanks !!! Sue

I have a Sears brand storm door that needs a replacement latch. The outside is a knob, but I'm not wedded to the replacement being the same. The holes are spaced 1 3/4" apart, but the door is 1 5/8" thick. I could not find a kit in my local hardware store for such a thick door. I thought about tryin ... (cont.)

Part #40-035 can it fit a door 1&1/2 inches thick? If not, have you a storm door knob for a door that thick?

Looking for latch. Outside plate measures 5 1/ 2 x 1 1/ 2...1 3 /4 in hole spacing . Need extra shims and strike plate. All in color black. If you don't have them maybe just inside handle which has a square spindle. Plus strike n shims ...must be all in black

Folks, Looking at Lever Handle With Deadbolt Set (Product Code: 40-177) as an option. Quick question: Are the installation hole to hole centers for the deadbolt 1 3/4", just as the latch set? Assumming they are. Thanks, Al
