I've got a problem with the tilt pivot bar that was originally installed in our WOOD window sashes they used a pivot bar like Pivot Bar, 3", Product Code: 26-040 they drilled a hole in the end grain of the bottom rail and now they are all splitting.... looking for a better pivot bar/bracket t ... Our 10 yr old double hung windows made by PGT have several parts rotten. (See attached pivot shoe picture.) Our house is in Belize, Central America. Will this Coil Housing Pivot work with Pivot Bar 26-068? This bar seems to be what I have. (5/16" x 3/16" end) I beleive I have the Series 180, but on mine where the Pivot Bar goes is Light Blue like your Pivot Shoe 15-015 instead of Black. If it won't work, please steer me in the right direction! ... (cont.)

After discovering a pivot bar completely corroded through and detached from the pivot shoe, I dismantled my vinyl "Showcase" double hung windows. I've identified the replacement shoe (15-121) and pivot bar (26-068) but can't help but feel foolish to put the same inferior materials back in there. T ... (cont.)
