I have surface mounted tilt latch (RH side) that I am trying to match. It is very similar to your #26-295, but not exact. Mine is white colored, and the 11/16" dim you show is actually 3/4" on mine. I have a surface corner snap in window tilt latch,any trick to remove one without breaking it.I need one off to see what I need to order? Thank you Wendell G.

I believe they slide in from the top sides. You will have to remove (or loosen) the top rail on the sash to slide in the new latch. You may want to have someone familiar with window repair help you out with this process.
