83-040 Screen Door Latch & Pull

Cant find a replacement for this locking handle. Cant locate any parts number or brand on siding glass door or screen

Need a replacement latch/ handle for my K & K sliding patio screen door.

This has been a year long search for these parts and I have invested over $100 in unusable parts. Hole set is 3 1/2 inches. I do not know the door manufacturers name. Sliders were installed in 2007. I need 2 of the latch/handle assemblies. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.please contact me at ... (cont.)

3 5/16" long. 1 10/16" widest point 2 1/2" between center points of screws. Np part nbrs.has sliding latch up and down.

Replacement part

It has tabs that fit in the door near the screws. 2 5/8 btw screws

What is the size of the rivet that comes with the screen door latch & pull 83-040? I need to find the correct rivet gun insert. Thank you

I hope you can help. I have searched the internet for days. The doors are in perfect working condition. The screens will be re-screened, and the frames are in good condition. My latch keeps sliding down when I close the door, causing it to lock me outside. There is no slider on the exterior part so I can undo it. The door doesn't show a brand name but came from Lowe's, installed on a Pella sliding door. The only markings I see are a 5 on the interior part with the latch, ... (cont.)

Looking for replacement of metal latch that needs to be replaced

I have a Pella sliding glass door and screen. I want to replace the handle on the sliding screen door. When the install was done they never put the L-shaped keeper on the door so we've never been able to latch the screen door. I'd like to replace the handle and get a keeper to mount. I'm not opp ... How to install the 83-040? Especially how to connect the black butterfly part with the long metal stick? Seems no screw is designed to connect the two.
