Product Description
This is a Series 145 coil spring for non-tilt windows.
  • Individually, this coil balance can hold 2 pounds. This is added together with the other coils to support the whole weight of the sash.
  • The weight you need should be indicated as a stamp or imprint on your old spring.
  • Measures 1/2" wide x 38-1/2" long.
  • This coil balance spring is sold individually, not in sets.
  • Can work for either the left or right side of the window interchangeably.
  • Coil balances are also known as constant force window balances.

    hi folks, this part broke and fell out. The one on the opposite side of the sash has popped out, but I don't think is broken. Could you please help me identify this part and give me any instructions for replacement? Thank you

    I have a window that needs four Series 145 Coil Balance. The window weighs 8lb 14 oz. Do I need 2 or 3lb coils? I have the Double Side Load Carriers already.

    Window balance
    I'm desperately trying to find this balance. I know now that it's called a constant force balance. I was screwed over by a window manufacturer, called Premium Windows and doors from Pico Rivera, CA. They were setting up a new branch in Atlanta and I paid for windows from them.
