This is a Series 140 replacement constant force balance system for tilt windows. It moderates the operation of your window sash using specifically calibrated coil springs that allows the window to stay open when raised and remain shut when closed.
- This balance comes complete with a pivot shoe, triple coil springs, and coil spring cover.
- The springs are stainless steel and Teflon-coated to be corrosion resistant.
- Travel extension: 32-1/2"
- Fits pocket size 9/16" x 1-1/4" (.562 x 1.292).
- A pair of 21 lb assemblies will carry 41-42.99 lbs, (sold individually). The weight you need should be indicated as a stamp or imprint on your old balance cartridge cover.
- Each assembly can work for either the left or right side of the window interchangeably.
Good Idea!
Balances are sold individually, however, it is a good idea to replace both window balances at the same time. Pairing a new balance with an old one would cause the new balance to wear out faster.
