Product Description

Charging tool for adjusting the tension of non-tilt window spiral sash support balances. This tool has a hooked end to fit into the hole at the end of the spiral balance rod. Simply crank the tensioning tool to increase or decrease the opening strength of the spiral balance by winding or unwinding the rod.

Hi we have ~18 windows that all need balances. I am unsure what specifically the ones we have are, though I suspect they are spiral balances. Attached photo's of broken balance. These are from window double hung windows from the 1950s. One window is stuck and wont shut.
