The Original Jamb Spreader.
This tool enables you to spread a vinyl jamb pocket in order to replace balances, shoes or other components without the need to cut into the jamb or melting the vinyl with a hot air gun.

Includes two Jamb Spreaders. Tighten and loosen by hand only. Designed for vinyl jambs only.

There is no warranty on this tool set.

I have some Silverline 1000 series double hung windows that I would like to replace the pivot shoes. They appear to match your 15-046. What tool do I need to remove the pivot shoe? Window tilt broken

I need to get the part that I would assume is a metal pin for the window tilt. I have attached the photo of what it attaches to but as you can see, it has rusted away.
