Balance replacement in tilt window

Thanks for reaching out! Your balance shoe reminds me of the 17/32" thick 15-199 Pivot Shoe. Unfortunately, the Series 140 Quick-Tilt balances will not work to replace it. This shoe uses the 26-378 Pivot Bar.

For the coils, you'll need the 3/8" wide Series 165 Coil Balances. Since yours are marked with a #4.0, you'll need the S165-4. The compatible cover is the 15-205 3/8" Egress Coil Triple Support.

The main difference is the the shoe on the Series 140 is 9/16". While the difference is small, it matters.

It also is not the intended hardware for the window. While most of these assemblies function the same, there are many different types available because they are specific to the windows they are made to be installed in. Since the hardware you've provided photos of is available, it would be suggested to use that for the installation.

In regard to the pivot bar; yes, most (if not all) tilt windows have them but they don't all use the same pivot bars. The 26-378 is the one that is compatible with the shoe you have.
