I have a customer with discontinued windows who needs his balances replaced as soon as possible. I'm on your website, and I'm just unsure how to find the replacements I need, because I'm unfamiliar with this type of balance.
The top part has a 3 on it, the bottom part has a 2 on it, they both say Pat. Pend. the very top says PAT. #5,704,165, the rest is broken off

Thanks for reaching out! The 15-199 17/32" thick Pivot Shoe should work well as a replacement. We've recommended this shoe quite frequently, so I am confident it will work but be sure to double check the width and thickness of the existing shoe.
The compatible pivot bar is the 26-378.
The coils used with this shoe are either the 1/2" wide Series 160 or 3/8" Series 165 Coil Balances. You'll need to measure the width of the coils and check the stamps on them to confirm the correct series and spring strength. Given that this is a different assembly, you may want to double check the sash weight to determine the correct coils.
For the coil supports, you'll need either the 15-150D 1/2" Coil Double Support or the 15-204 3/8" Coil Dual Support, which depends on the coil series.
