From Simonton H-R25 480X80 double hung

Question

Hello! Looking for a replacement Pivot Lock Shoe for these windows (you can see it has broke at the bottom in photo) and believe that #15-192 is the correct part. Balance springs are #406 and the measurements appear correct. Just wanted to make sure before ordering. Thanks!

Thanks for writing in! Yes, the 15-192 and S170-406 may work for the replacement, so long as you can reuse the other hardware and accessories to repair the window. May of the compatible parts for this CertainTeed shoe have been discontinued.

Since this is a Simonton window, we suggest using the 15-259 Coil Balance Pivot Shoe, 15-256 Coil Double Support, and Series 159 Coil Balance to replace this assembly. Based on the stamp from the springs, you'll need the S159-06.

Your existing pivot bar will not be compatible with this shoe so you'll also need the 26-083 Pivot Bar.
