Product Description

This is a Series 159 stainless steel spring for tilt windows. It moderates the operation of your window sash using a specifically calibrated coil spring that allows the window to stay open when raised and remain shut when closed.

Individually, this coil balance can hold 6-1/2 pounds. This is added together with the other coils to support the whole weight of the sash.
The weight you need should be indicated as a stamp or imprint on your old spring.
Measures 3/4" thick.
The maximum travel length is 40".
Designed to work with a pivot shoe (sold separately).
This coil balance spring is sold individually, not in sets.
Can work for either the left or right side of the window interchangeably.
Coil balances are also known as constant force window balances.

Double-hung window balance/pivot shoe parts

I could not locate any existing names/numbers/markings on the balance system aside from it being made in China. There was a sticker on the bottom window pane itself which I've attached. Thank you for your help in advance.

Pivot Shoe Assembly

Confirming the correct Pivot Shoe was ordered, 15-192. Note, the beveled Cam shape inside. The older Pivot Bar will not fit in the Cam of the new Pivot Shoe. Thank you.

From Simonton H-R25 480X80 double hung

Hello! Looking for a replacement Pivot Lock Shoe for these windows (you can see it has broke at the bottom in photo) and believe that #15-192 is the correct part. Balance springs are #406 and the measurements appear correct. Just wanted to make sure before ordering. Thanks!

Replacement hardware

pivot shoes & I believe double coils for one window top and bottom. Also another pivot shoes and coils for another window, just the top. I've have more pictures, but also sent the info data plates of what I had. I'd like to replace the tilt latches also for not windows

Hello, I need help identifying the correct Tile Shoe to replace the ones that have broken in the slides of the windows. I am not sure if I need to replace the coil as well.
