Replace Coil Balances

Your pivot shoe resembles the 17/32" thick 15-199 that is compatible with either the 1/2" thick Series 160 or 3/8" thick Series 165 coil springs. Please measure all dimensions to confirm the best fit.

The coil springs should have numbers stamped on the metal that indicates the weighted option needed. If no markings are found, please provide the weight of the window sash to move forward.

We recommend sticking to the same style as the original setup. To determine the correct series of coil, please let me know if the original measure 3/8" or 1/2" thick. From there we can confirm the weighted option needed based on the weight of the sash.

For a 18.6 pound sash, you can stack (1) S165-5 and (1) S165-4 coil spring using the 15-204 dual support on both sides of the window.
