Replacement parts

Handy Person from Harrison Twp. Michigan
I'm looking to replace parts on 6 windows. All the sash pivots, all the coil spring balances and the upper latches I've included pictures. it doesn't look like The old sash balances will come out of the tracks without cutting into the vinyl?  Who can I speak with  to figure out out the right way to repair these windows?
thank you,
Jim

Thanks for reaching out to us Jim. The 15-111 looks like a match for your pivot shoe. This is used with the 1/2" Series 160 coil springs. You can check the old spring for stamped weight codes to see which spring weights you'll need. As for the removal, we recommend the cutout method as shown in the video below.

For the pivot bar, take a look at the 26-040 and 26-089. Review the specifications and see if they match up with your old part.

We're happy to look further into the latch but we will need to see it removed from the window to compare to our inventory.

I'm curious what this little plastic piece piece is and that something that is needed! When i remove the pivot shoes most of them had that little plastic piece  however some were missing or broken. I'll add another picture of just the plastic piece itself.

These are the internal latches most are broke. From looking at the videos I think it's best to use top mount latches.  I think the 26-229 and 26-228  should work?  I'll send pic of internal latch.

That little plastic piece is a pivot bar retainer. See the 15-149 which is sold separately. For new double coil supports, see the 15-150D

We don't sell a match for your internal latch but converting to a surface mount type like the 26-228 and 26-229 is certainly an option as long as you have the room on the sash.

Are the retainers necessary? It looks as if they just make it more difficult to remove and install the sash.

The pivot bar retainer helps connect and stabilize the pivot shoe to the pivot bar so we recommend using it.
