We have a broken-ish crank on one of our awning style windows. One of the side supports is broken off so it isn't very stable in the window frame. Also looks like they may have drilled new holes and used different hardware from what was originally intended, so in not sure if a new crank will be plug ... (cont.)

My Milgard window sash is difficult to lift open and slides back down when I let go of it. I suspect the channel balances need replacement, although I don't see any obvious problems with them. The marking on old balance is 310 DS ( BSI ) PM 45 . The length of metal channel is 33 ". Another balance which was removed has marking 3210.
