I neglected to take photos of the balance(s) before removing them. I'm not even sure how to determine if they are in fact "worn out." One side keeps coming off its connection to the window frame. I've try to match my window balance to the ones on your website but I can't find any that resemble mind. ... (cont.)

Built in the 30's. Beautiful old Florida, lakeside home. Glassed in porch. All the crank mechanisms are frozen from corrosion. What can be done?

Hi, I am trying to replace my old spiral tube window balances. This house was built in the 50s and it seems like these are still the original windows. Body is 12 in Long 3/8 in tubular and screws in at the top. I cannot seem to find the bottom connector that locks it to the window. Please help me if you can thank you Bill
