I would like to be able to temporarily lock the operational panel of an Andersen gliding patio door (looking from outside it is a left operating panel) with a key so a child can not exit because the sliding door is on the 2nd floor and deck is under construction. I need 8 of the for my customer it is 25" long by 5/8 wide

It's a latch that meaures 4.5 inches long and is 5.5 inches long if you count the moving latch handle. The latching mechanism inside does not move when the latch is moved up or down. it appears to be stripped.

The handle that's broken is 5-1/2" long, 1" wide. It is dark dark brown and is 3-1/2" in between the middle of the two screws that go into the door....

1/2 inch channel for both springs, 30 inches long for both springs. i need both springs pictured, i was only able to find some writing on the springs. Both springs read "30B bBSI"

I have a Truth operator on Wenco casement in 1993 (home bought new 1993) The longest bar is 9 1/2" Any chance you could replace both left and right operators.
