The picture you see shows a broken bolt from replacement storm windows (probably about 20 to 30 years old) in our 1879 home. Is this a sash bolt? We' need to replace quite few of these. What do you think? The numbers on the ones that broke off are 2,5, and 6.

Hail broke many of them - the glue is intact, but the plastic snap in window glazing is broken on two sides of the house. I replaced them all on my last house which was 10 years older. I have a 1" belt sander and can probably grind down a ridge if there is something that would still fit with ... (cont.)

On Easton vinyl windows they use coil balance shoe 15-177. At the top of the sash there are 2 plastic pieces that interlock. The bottom piece has a post that goes inside the coil spring. Hopefully these pictures will show you the clear plastic catch that fits into the top whole in the frame of the fixed pella patio door. This is the part that the hook on the handle of the Rolscreen sliding door "catches" on when the screen is "deployed," i.e., in use.

This is for my wood horizontal slider windows. Its the seal that is vertical between the windows. Inserts in an 1/8 groove.
