Latch is not broken, but does not latch as if it is missing a spring to hold it in place. I have taken it apart, put it back together but still no way to lock or hold in proper position. The latch looks like your 83-115. So is there a spring or something to put pressure on the latch to hold in place ... (cont.)

Hello I would like to know if the model of roller 6049 is similar as the model 81-005.

I can't match anything exactly. I need 10 balancers and don't want to be ordering and returning. Window is PGT hurricane resistant. Cover is grey plastic. Diameter 9/16. Length 31.5 inches. I ordered (30) of the 15-194 1" T lock balance shoe, but they are not quite the same as the originals. The balance is stamped 26C and the end is concave the t lock is thicker (taller) width is perfect back of old lock is indented to receive t lock we can straighten bend but hook on t lock will n ... Our balances are stamped 2840. However, our tilt windows weigh only 20 lbs, and the balances are so strong that the windows are easy to open, but very difficult to close.
