are the drip rails made of plastic or aluminum? also, is the rubber seal on bottom trimmable to 9/16 in?

I purchased and and installed part 10-133 (Door handle with Towel Bar Insert). Just what I needed. But I have one small issue I'm hoping you can help me with. Thank you for sending the above replacement rollers for our folding shower doors so quickly. Is there a trick to getting the rollers into the tracks? I have a framed Aqua glass shower door that I need to replace the drip rail and vinyl sweep on. Do you mount it with mounting tape? My other one was screwed in but these holes don't look like they would match up? Or do you drill your own holes? This 30" rail looks like it might work if I can figure ... (cont.)
