I need to replace a 29" balance stamped "2840 AA". I have found part S390-29 option 2840. It comes preassembled with top 19-002 and shoe 15-001. My shoe is exactly 1" deep while the 15-001 is 1 1/8". I just purchased the 75-070 and received it and when trying to use, the tool just slips out of the head of the screw. Am I using it improperly or is there a trick to it?

What size is the 75-070 tool? If I purchase it, I want to make sure that it will remove the screw size that I have. Thanks, M
